Lighting for Literacy

Doug & Jesse Teach Us to Build LFL Modules

Ever wonder what it takes to assemble, build and test a solar light?  At last, the opportunity is here. On Wednesday, May 25, you’ll work in teams of three and build a Lighting for Literacy (LFL) sustainable solar light unit.

For the past three years, hundreds of 6 – 8th graders have successfully built LFL units in their classrooms and LFL workshops for  international deployment to global villages that are off-grid.

Meeting starts promptly at
7:a.m. (full-breakfast) until 7:15 a.m.
LFL unit build
7:15 – 8:30 a.m.
Teams to be guided by LFL co-inventors.

This is going to be fun!
